The Asia Matters Business Awards

The inaugural Asia Matters Business Awards were launched in response to requests from our government and corporate members

to formally recognise and celebrate the amazing achievements of Irish companies in Asian markets and Asian companies

succeeding globally and in Europe from an Irish base.

The 2018 Awards will see the presentation of two Lifetime Achievement Awards: Kerry Group CEO, Edmond Scanlon, will accept the award in recognition of the incredible success of Kerry Group since commencing operations in 1972 to becoming a leading player in the global food industry, with Asia now key to continued growth and development.

Pat Ledwidge, Deputy CEO of Cork City Council, will be presented with his award for his outstanding individual leadership in building the Cork–Shanghai strategic partnership which has become a mutually beneficial relationship role model for other local authorities in Ireland. Special Asian Investor Awards will also be made to Toyota Financial Services and Huawei Technologies for their significant and unique contributions to economic growth, employment and CSR through their investment in Ireland.

Sincere congratulations to our 33 shortlisted companies representing global best in class, who are competing in seven categories to become winners of The Asia Matters Business Awards 2018.
